
Programs and Services Provided

​Community Impact Day
We provide an annual collaborative day of community connection and school readiness with community resource tables, youth and family business vendors, family friendly activities, and interactive fitness demonstrations. We provide free backpacks for kids filled with school supplies, hygiene kits, fruit, a bottle of water, and a community resource folder.

Student Impact Center
​Students are provided with a safe space within their school to receive specialized suicide prevention counseling, Impact Kits, and emergency backup uniforms. Impact Kits contain writing materials (pencil and notebook) and hygiene items (including feminine products for young women).

Family Resource and Support Services
Families will be provided with a family liaison that will provide comprehensive support including job placement, educational advancement, housing assistance, financial management guidance, and holistic health resources, with a specialized focus on aiding single parent families. We have an Impact Directory of organizations that serve families outside of our capacity.

Humanity First Recovered Groceries Distribution
Families receive free recovered groceries and diapers. Community Impact Volunteers distribute groceries within underserved communities and local community schools twice a month. We give out diapers once a month.

Free Impact Little Library
Provides access to literature and community resources through Little Libraries provided by The Little Free Library Foundation. Free Impact Little Libraries are stationed in underserved communities across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas, with a particular focus on Prince George’s County and Southeast Washington.
